Our engineers developed a full ride-sharing solution that helps parents safely transfer their children to local schools and events.

Key points

Koalift is a product which aims to help parents get connected in order to safely exchange information and organize ride services for their children in a common community.

The focus is on the main two entities: Parents and Communities. Parents can list the communities available in their area and sign their children up into them. Meanwhile, communities have a platform where they can review and manage parents who signed up, post announcements, and provide the needed information to the parents.

The product consists of 3 applications: Community onboarding, Community panel, and Parent mobile app.

Community Onboarding

Community onboarding is a web application where communities can register in order to be a part of the Koalift ecosystem. This application represents a multi-step form registration process which intuitively leads the users through a series of steps, thus making the process smoother, as opposed to one big registration form.

Parent Mobile App

Koalift for parents is the third part of the whole group, giving access to parents to see in which communities they wish to enroll their children.

Messaging

Parents can chat with each other or create group chats. Grant permission to other parents to pick up their children from specific communities, and perform other actions necessary for building a safe and trusting relationship with communities and other parents.

Browsing capabalities

Rich search and filtering allows for easy browsing of communities. A map view provides an overview of each parent’s transportation types, adding clarity to the application.

Never forget an event

Parents also have access to a calendar-like feature called “Parent’s Agenda,” where they can view shared appointments created in communication with other parents, such as transportation requests.
